This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Every visit passes through Cloudflare's network, which processes your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser and operating system, and the referring page, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare keeps these logs for a short time under its own policy. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and a data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses is in place. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a secure, fast website.
All fonts are served from this site. Your browser makes no requests to Google or any other font service.
This site sets no cookies of its own and does no tracking. Your browser keeps two small notes: your theme choice (Day, Night or System) in local storage, and, for the open tab only, the page you are on, so a reload brings you back to the same frame. Both stay on your device, are never sent to us and are strictly necessary for functions you use (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Cloudflare may set a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from bots.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not use your IP address to identify you and builds no profiles; we only see totals. Provider: Cloudflare, Inc. (see above). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used.
When you write through the form we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose, your message and, if you came from a photo, that frame's number. We use them only to answer you. The form is processed by Cloudflare (see above) and delivered by email to the photographer's Gmail inbox (see "Email" below). The photographer also gets a short notice in Telegram that a message has arrived, with its subject only — no name, address or text. Spam protection uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser and IP address to tell people from bots without cookies (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Legal basis for your message: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns a commission or a print, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete messages once your request is settled, at the latest after 12 months, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example invoices).
Mail to me@mitjakeshishev.com and messages from the contact form reach a Gmail inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google may process data in the USA and is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We use your email only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it under the same rule as form messages.
These are reportage photographs taken in public places. If you recognise yourself and would rather not be shown, write to us with the frame number ("That's me. Take it down" under each frame fills it in) and we will take the photograph down. You may also ask what we hold about you.
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Write to me@mitjakeshishev.com. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
